Print this page
Gornja Radgona, 31 August

Slovenia's EU accession was the focus of this year's traditional agriculture and food fair in Gornja Radgona.

The fair, that wrapped up 3 September featured events, novelties and products from agriculture, the food-processing industry, winemaking and agricultural machinery. Some 1,410 exhibitors from 21 countries covering a surface area of 55,000 square metres have been taking part at the fair.

Round table debates as well as lectures will be of interest to anyone involved in agriculture and the food processing industry. The EU topics addressed at the fair included changes in EU market regulations for sugar and the production of sugar beet, the development of rural areas in the light of the common agriculture policy, and the drawing of EU and national funds.
