Planica

Zoran Vogrinčič / Planica. The World Cup competition at Planica is an annual Slovene national sports holiday that attracts as many as 100,000 spectators. The Slovenes consider themselves pioneers of ski-flying. Planica is where ski- flights were born and where the first man was carried beyond the magic 100-metre mark - and recently also over 200 metres.
