- In 2007, the number of tourists recorded as staying in Slovenian tourist accommodation was 2,672,939.
- Of the nights spent by tourists in 2007, 59 % of them were by foreigners and in 2006 this figure was 58 %. In 2007, most guests (70 % of all foreign nights) came from Italy (19 %), Austria (14 %), Germany (13 %), the UK (6 %), Croatia (6 %), the Netherlands (4 %), Hungary (3 %), the Russian Federation (3 %) and France (2 %).
