FC De Bilt football club has available 8 extremely well maintained football pitches and facilities with adequate additional infrastructure. In cooperation with the Slovenian Tourist Board and the Government Public Relations and Media Office of the Republic of Slovenia, a "Slovene house" will operate in the club premises, which will be devoted to a promotion of Slovenia as a country and as a tourist destination, and of course the promotion of Football Association of Slovenia and football.
Foreign and domestic journalists will gather here prior to news conferences, and meetings with representatives of the Netherlands on a local and state level will be organised, as well as receptions for sponsors of Football Association of Slovenia by the management of Football Association of Slovenia and visits from Slovenia by leading political and sporting personalities.
The Club is a second home for the inhabitants of De Bilt and its surroundings and that it will remain so after the arrival of the Slovene team, which will be received as an honoured guest in its home for slightly less than a month, has been shown by the sincere enthusiasm which both the management and volunteers and sympathisers of the club have shown at the news of the Slovene national football team coming to their town.
