Continuing its monthly session for March, the National Assembly is set to debate the government's draft declaration on guidelines for Slovenia's EU activities in 2005 on Tuesday. Prime Minister Janez Jansa and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel are to attend the session. PM Janša is to present the declaration.

World-Renowned Economist and Thinker to Speak in Ljubljana Today
The University of Ljubljana is to present honorary doctorates to Nobel-winning economist Lawrence R. Klein and world-renowned linguist and thinker Noam Chomsky at 11 AM. The pair is to be received by President Janez Drnovsek at 1 PM. Later in the day, Klein is to deliver a lecture at the Law Faculty (3 PM), while Chomsky will speak at the Cankarjev dom arts centre (5:30 PM).
