The Defence Ministry, in cooperation with the US European Command, is holding a two-day Southeast Europe Clearinghouse conference. Representatives of 28 European countries, the US, Canada, and international organisations are expected to review the options for streamlining regional defence cooperation.

CEI prime ministers are to convene for a plenary session on the second and last day of the summit of the partnership associating 17 countries
The session, to begin at 9:30 AM, is to be chaired by outgoing PM Anton Rop. The summit is to wrap up with a news conference at 1:30 PM. On the sidelines of the CEI summit, incoming PM Janez Jansa is to hold a series of bilateral meetings with prime ministers; after a meeting with Croatian PM Ivo Sanader, he is to speak to the press, expectedly at 4 PM.
