The prime ministers of Slovenia and Croatia, Borut Pahor and Jadranka Kosor, agreed on the creation of a joint commission which will review and propose solutions for the remaining open issues between the countries, as they met informally in Kranjska Gora on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Borut Pahor emphasised Slovenia's readiness to offer Macedonia full support in its efforts to join the EU and NATO, as he paid a working visit to Skopje on Sunday. Pahor assessed that the time had come for Macedonia and Greece to resolve their dispute over the former Yugoslav country's name.
The government will have the exit strategy ready by the end of January, Development Minister Mitja Gaspari told the press after Friday's meeting of the government's crisis task force, adding that the strategy would not be just a package of measures to get out of the crisis, but also a kind of guidelines for the future work of the cabinet.
