To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Slovenia’s independence, the “I Feel Slovenia. I Feel 25.” exhibition will be on display at Ratslaukums, the town hall square of Riga, from 13 to 30 September 2016.

The »I Feel Slovenia. I Feel 25.« photography exhibition began touring European cities on 16 June 2016 in Berlin. Snapshots of Slovenia captured by the lenses of established Slovenian photographers have also been on display in Vienna, Geneva, Helsinki, and Tallinn. The exhibition will finish its European tour in Riga.

Would you like to feel Slovenia in Riga? Would you like to feel at home? This series of photographs shows Slovenia just as it is – a boutique, green, and active country focused on sustainable development. The exhibition stresses the natural, cultural, and social wealth of Slovenia, well-known and less-known gems of its landscape, and the activities of the people who live there.

The opening of the exhibition will be on Tuesday, 13 September 2016, at noon, and it will take place in Ratslaukums, the town hall square of Riga. The exhibition will be opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in the Federal Republic of Germany, Marta Kos Marko, and the Mayor of Riga, Nils Ušakovs.

The exhibition will be on display until 30 September 2016.

Please come and see the exhibition, where you will feel Slovenia.

The exhibition is organised by the Government Communication Office in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Berlin and Slovenia Press Photo.
